This April, in Europe, meet Christopher Hire, from 2thinknow!

YOUR SAY, Europe — This March and April I will be going on a Global Innovation Tour. From mid-march I will be touring European cities. Some cities I will be seeing for the first time, other cities visiting, like Vienna, many times.

I represent 2thinknow, and we are dedicated to global positive social change in areas like environmental friendly transport, food supply, artistic city cultures, small-scale farming, regional produce, increased small business, economic moderation, regulation of industry and many other global issues.

Be Involved, Help Create Positive Global Change

This is the very first time I will be meeting our readers of the online ‘Global Innovation Conversation’ journal in Europe. Obviously any meeting will be in a very public place, but any invitation to your university, museum or gallery appreciated.

Obviously I only have a certain limited amount of time (around 2-3 hours) in each city available to meet people. I have some private research to do in each city.

Whilst I have a broad interest in each city, I am interested in hearing from people who work as architects, designers, artists or in galleries & museums within these cities. Any special insight on your city would assist with our research, and the 2008 review.

This is an experiment in a style of ‘open-source’ writing, and idea collaboration, a nascent stage trend being explored by 2thinknow.

Meet Christopher in these Major Cities

If you live in one of these cities, come and have input into global social change and innovation worldwide, and the change you wish to see in the world.

  • Frankfurt, Germany
  • Stuttgart, Germany
  • Brussels, Belgium
  • Düsseldorf, Germany
  • Vienna, Austria
  • Budapest, Hungary
  • Bratislava, Slovakia
  • Warsaw, Poland
  • Berlin, Germany

From early-April I will be visiting these European cities researching the next edition of the Global Innovation Review, the 2008 edition. The focus is on Germany, Austria and East Europe on this tour.

Although research has already been done on other cities, this is the first tour where I am available to meet our online readers.

Meet Christopher Hire, Author & Speaker

I have allocated 2-3 hours in each of these cities to meet our readers, as well as interesting local cultural and artistic people, so please do get in touch: talk@2thinknow.com

If you’d like to show me around your city, work for a council, arts or government body or tell me why your city is culturally innovative, please do also get in touch.

However, I may also pass through additional cities on the tour, as it will be primarily conducted by First-Class Eurail. So if you live in Germany, Austria, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia or Slovenia, but outside these cities do let me know as well.

What is the Review?

The 2007 review was the world’s first ranking of Innovation Cities worldwide. People I have met through real world (not online) contacts, on previous Global Innovation Tours have had input into the current edition of the 2007 Review. Some are even quoted within (anonymously).

You can order the 2007 edition (revised in November 2007) online from 2thinknow here, or from Amazon here. Alternately ask your library to order the book from us directly, all they need is the ISBN number, which is: 978-0980369700.

What are 2thinknow doing for your city?

Yes, 2thinknow are ranking innovation cities, providing role model cities and an analysis framework for innovation in this global world we now inhabit.

But we are going further. 2thinknow are working to provide thought leadership for innovation, in the places where you live, work and play.

If you’d like to get in touch with 2thinknow, for any other reason, please contact us here.
